Welcome to our Sustainability Update 2025
Rezolv Energy’s first annual progress overview

Here you will find summary performance data relating to the 12 months ending 31 December 2025, as well as information about our impact and sustainability goals.

At a glance: our achievements in 2025

1,350

jobs created during the construction of projects

We created 1,350 jobs during the construction phase of our projects in 2025. That figure underlines out commitment to creating economic opportunities within the communities we serve, prioritising employment and entrepreneurship initiatives. Through local job creation within our own operations – and indirectly through the use of contractors – we aim to increase household income, reduce inequalities and improve social inclusion.

3

major renewable energy sites under construction across Bulgaria and Romania

  • Our St George solar and battery storage plant will be one of Bulgaria’s largest solar PV projects. It is the first of Rezolv’s large-scale projects to come onstream with a capacity of 225MW, equivalent to avoiding 150,000t CO2 emissions annually.
  • Our VIFOR wind farm in Romania is set to become one of Europe’s largest onshore wind farms, covering approximately 2,800 hectares. Once fully operational, the plant will have a significantly lower emissions intensity compared with local grid electricity, avoiding approximately 540,000t of CO2 emissions annually .
  • Our Dama solar plant in Romania is set to be the largest solar plant in Europe, with an installed capacity of approximately 1.3GW when fully operational. It will deliver some of Europe’s highest avoided emissions per MWh, helping to decarbonise Romania’s carbon-intensive grid.

pioneering Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in our portfolio

Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) are long-term electricity contracts through which businesses purchase renewably generated electricity or its associated attributes from a renewable energy producer – helping them to decarbonise their business as well as our national grids. They mean customers have certainty about the price they will pay – and so does the developer, which is why PPAs have an important role in financing renewable energy.

NatureTech and CleanTech startups supported through our SCION Accelerator programme

In 2025, we introduced a new flagship impact programme, SCION Accelerator. The programme is designed to catalyse scalable, market-driven solutions that combine environmental impact with economic opportunity. It supports early-stage nature and clean tech ventures and seeks to help to create a vibrant innovation ecosystem, aligned with EU Green Deal goals and regional climate commitments. In 2025, 10 NatureTech and CleanTech startups were supported through the programme.

100

trainees completed training in photovoltaics or wind energy

100 people completed training delivered through our Rezolv Energy Shift programme in 2025. This offers free skills development opportunities to help local people gain the photovoltaic and wind energy skills needed for tomorrow’s clean energy jobs.

82ha

land set aside at our Dama solar site to protect wildlife

To mitigate the impact of our Dama solar project on nature and achieve a net positive biodiversity gain, we set aside an area of 82ha at the site to support a habitat for birds - including the Saker falcon, Eastern imperial eagle and Red-breasted goose - and restoring degraded ancient steppe grasslands. Our Biodiveristy Action Plan, developed alongside local NGOs and biodiversity experts, will enhance and protect the condition, aiming to leave a positive legacy for nature beyond the life of the solar farm.
