The construction of Rezolv’s VIFOR wind farm in Romania is moving forward at pace.

Since the start of August 2025, we have:

  • Made significant progress on the 192MW first phase of the wind farm. The first batch of 10 turbines from Vestas (6.4MW each, the largest power output of any turbine in Romania) have been installed. The new 400 kV substation – the first to be built in recent years in Romania – is also progressing well. Phase 1 will install 30 turbines and is scheduled to be operational by the spring of 2026.
  • Started the construction of Phase 2, with PORR acting as our civil and electrical (BOP) partner. Phase 2 will install a further 42 turbines, adding another 269MW.
  • Opened applications for 100 free training places in Buzău County, where VIFOR is situated, which Rezolv will deliver in partnership with RenewAcad. There are 50 places in internationally accredited safety and technical modules for wind energy, and 50 in an introductory solar photovoltaic installer course.
