Rezolv Energy, one of the leading renewable energy producers in Central and Southeastern Europe, is offering 100 free training places in Buzău County, Romania, to help local people gain the skills needed for tomorrow’s clean energy jobs. The program is delivered in partnership with RenewAcad, a network of accredited training centres specialising in wind and solar energy.

The initiative forms part of Rezolv Energy Shift, the company’s impact platform which goes beyond building large-scale renewable projects. Rezolv Energy Shift focuses on people and innovation, ensuring that the transition to green energy is also inclusive, fair and opportunity-driven.

Two types of courses are available:

  • 50 places in internationally accredited GWO (Global Wind Organisation) safety and technical modules, covering first aid, fire prevention, working at height and manual handling.
  • 50 places in an introductory Solar Photovoltaic Installer course, accredited by Romania’s Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity, providing 180 hours of practical and theoretical training.

“For Rezolv, the energy transition is not only about generating clean power. It is also about investing in people and communities,” said Marian Pavel, Country Manager of Rezolv Romania. “Through Rezolv Energy Shift, we are creating real opportunities for people in Buzău to build valuable skills that open the door to long-term careers in the green economy.”

Who can apply?
The programme is open to anyone motivated to begin a career in renewable energy. A technical background in electrotechnics, mechanics, mechatronics or automation is an advantage, as are English and IT skills. However, motivation and willingness to learn are equally important, and criteria will be adapted to give as many people as possible the chance to participate.

Training will be delivered by RenewAcad, which has extensive experience in preparing professionals for the wind and solar industry.

“This partnership shows that investment in education and professional training is the key to a sustainable energy transition. With our expertise, we make sure participants gain the knowledge and confidence to work in green energy,” said Giorgiana Alexe, Director of the RenewAcad Centre.
